Meet the Models

The new Every Second Counts collection is designed to take on the elements with versatile, innovative technical fabrics. So we were determined to find the right models to showcase just how adaptable the new pieces are.

We caught up with some of the ‘wonder’ women on set at Lee Valley Athletics Centre, London to talk sweat, modelling and super powers!

KIM HARTWELL

Instagram sensation, fitness model, personal trainer and yoga teacher Kim is a pro when it comes to anything and everything fitness.

What’s your favourite way to keep fit?

Rock climbing and yoga!

Has there been a standout moment in your life so far?

My wedding was pretty corker! I’ve also been really lucky to travel
the world and have so many incredible moments. We climbed Mount Kinabulu in Malaysia when we were backpacking around Asia, which was pretty special at the top!

How do you make every second count?

By living in the moment. Too often we’re fixated on the past or future we forget to live in the now. My yoga has taught me to be conscious and in the moment.

Bucket list adventure?

Climb Half Dome in Yosemite! (Gulp!)

If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?

Learn to love yourself. I spent a lot of my modeling career comparing myself to others and trying to be something I wasn’t. Life is genuinely a more wonderful place when you believe in your authentic self and just be you. My moto for my PT business is Tone What You Own, it’s all about doing the best with what you’ve got and be the best version you of you!

ZOE SHELLEY

Coffee-loving personal trainer and fitness model Zoe splits her time between London and Canada.

What’s your favourite piece from the collection?

My favourite piece(s!) would have to be the Epoch Crop and the Speed Legging. The Strike leggings are awesome too actually… OMG how do I pick one? Ok if I have to pick just one then I’d say the Epoch Crop in blue!

Has there been a standout moment in your life so far?

Playing an Amazon in the recent Wonder Woman movie.

How do you make every second count?

I try as much as possible to be a “yes” person, and not close any doors to new experiences/opportunities/adventures, even if they take me a little out of my comfort zone.

ANDREA VASILIOU

This energetic actress and model is a force not to be messed with! Having trained for 4 months to star as an Amazon woman in Wonder Woman; she knows how to throw a punch or two!

What was your favourite moment on the shoot?

When we were all hanging from different exercise bars/frames and acting like kids!

What’s your favourite piece from the collection?

I love the shiny berry coloured leggings and bra combo that Zoe was wearing (the Era Crop and Legging in wildberry!).

If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?

Don’t take life too seriously, enjoy the moments you have and be thankful, make sure you do what you love!

NAOUMIE

Having grown up with a passion for volleyball and basketball, model Naoumie, has always prioritised training ad exercise into her daily routine.

Where do you live in the world?

I live everywhere and anywhere and nowhere. I travel for work a lot but this year I took a year to live in London.

How do you start your day?

I start my day with a littler prayer of gratitude, lemon water (room temperature). Then head to the gym, take a run, or do yoga. It depends on the day.

Bucket list adventure?

I just completed one of my bucket list adventures actually! I did skydive and loved it. I want to do more but next time I hope to do it by myself.

If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?

Let your competition be your inspiration to motivate you to be the best version of yourself.

RAVINE MANN

London based personal trainer Ravine changed not only her outlook but also her career after falling in love with barbell and weightlifting.

What was your favourite moment on the shoot?

Lunchtime!  It was so great sitting down and getting to know everyone.

What’s your favourite piece from the collection?

The Epoch seamless leggings I wore, they were so comfortable.

Where’s your favourite place in the world?

In the gym, it’s the one place where I feel the most present and focused

If you were a super hero, what power would you have?

Be able to duplicate myself, so I can be in 2 places at the same time!

ANNA OLOYEDE

A keen athlete, Anna balances university work with sprint hurdles and long jump training!

What was your favourite ESC item?

My favourite item was the Epoch legging as they were super comfortable and fit really well in just the right places!

How do you start your day?

I normally start my day with 10-15 minutes of guided meditation using the Headspace app before having breakfast

Where’s your favourite place in the world?

Any athletics track, I always feel comfortable and at home no matter where I am in the world.

If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?

If you wait for everything to be perfect before taking action on your dream, you’ll never take the first step. Get up and make your dream a reality!

Thanks girls – it was a blast having you on set! Until next time..
