Our obsessions: Pomegranate Seeds

Pomegranate seeds (or arils) may be tiny but they pack a mighty nutritional punch! They’re low in calories, high in fibre and a great source of vitamin C and K, which can promote a healthy immune system, encourage iron absorption and maintain healthy bones. Pomegranate seeds are also high in phytochemicals that promote good heart health.

We don’t just love pomegranate seeds because they’re really good for you though – these babies taste great too! You can eat them as a tasty snack, sprinkle over salads for a sweet garnish or stir into Greek yoghurt for a yummy breakfast. You could even add them to your morning smoothie.

Did you know the seeds from one pomegranate supply 40% of the vitamin C you need in a day? A great alternative to citrus fruits if you fancy something different!
